Our Nigeria methodology explains how broker pages are researched, scored and updated without turning access, demo screens or payment marketing into unsupported proof.

The Core Review Question

Every Nigeria broker review starts with the same question: what can a reader reasonably verify before opening or funding an account? A high payout banner or a low entry number is not enough. We look at normal country access, entity clarity, product screen, demo quality, cashier route, payment ownership, KYC wording, bonus terms and risk disclosure.

This standard also protects the site from cannibalization. The country hub ranks platforms. Brand pages inspect a single brand. Comparison pages answer a two-brand decision. Legal and payment pages explain the context.

Scoring Areas

AreaWeightWhat earns trust
Country accessHighNormal access from Nigeria, no workaround framing, clear account availability limits.
Payment and KYCHighClear cashier wording, same-name payment logic, documents and withdrawal route explained.
Risk languageHighNo profit pressure, no fixed cashout promises, clear warning about fast losses.
Platform clarityMediumReadable terminal, demo flow, trade history, account controls and support access.
Source qualityHighOfficial broker materials, local authorities and current public documents separated from weaker reputation signals.
Commercial fitMediumAffiliate links placed only where they match user intent and disclosure rules.

Source Hierarchy

Nigeria pages use a source hierarchy. Official account terms and official local authorities come first. For regulatory context, the strongest sources include SEC Nigeria registered operator search and SEC Nigeria enforcement updates. Payment-system context may use the CBN payments system. General risk warnings from CFTC binary options fraud advisory or Investor.gov binary options fraud support broad risk language, not Nigeria-specific law.

Competitor pages, forums, app-store text and user reviews can reveal search intent or questions to answer. They should not become proof of a payment result, legal status or account outcome.

What We Do Not Claim

  • We do not claim a broker is locally authorized unless an official source supports that exact claim.
  • We do not claim fixed withdrawal timing for a reader’s account.
  • We do not use private profit stories as ranking evidence.
  • We do not recommend using VPNs, borrowed payment methods or false account details.
  • We do not let affiliate value decide whether a risk section stays on the page.

Update and Correction Triggers

A page can be updated when a broker changes country access, payment methods, account terms, public entity details, app availability or regulatory status. A page can also be corrected when a reader sends specific evidence showing that a live claim is inaccurate.

Corrections are handled through the complaint procedure and ordinary messages can be sent through the contact page.

FAQ

Affiliate availability can affect whether a commercial CTA exists, but it does not remove source checks, risk sections or negative notes.

A page should not claim a funded-account check unless the evidence and limits are clearly documented. The default review standard is account-screen and source verification.

Because access, local authorization, payment route and KYC are separate checks. A cautious page is more useful than a broad sales page.
