Important Methodology Note for Nigerian Readers
Older versions of this page used stronger claims about real-money deposits, live trades, withdrawal tests, timestamps, screenshots and videos. We no longer use those claims unless a specific review clearly documents a specific test.
Unless a page says otherwise with evidence, our Nigeria rankings should be read as an editorial broker comparison, not as proof that every broker was live-tested with Naira deposits, crypto payments, live trades or full withdrawals.
What We Review Before Ranking a Broker in Nigeria
Platform Access
We look at whether the platform is understandable for Nigerian users, including demo access, account flow, chart readability and mobile usability.
Deposit and Payment Context
We review published payment wording, minimum deposit, crypto routes, local-payment context and whether funding terms are clear before a user deposits.
Payout Visibility
We check whether payout percentages are displayed clearly and whether headline rates need extra context by asset, session or account type.
Withdrawals and Verification
We review withdrawal rules, KYC wording, limits, account checks and first-withdrawal friction. We do not promise exact cashout times unless a page documents a real test.
Country Availability
We check whether the broker appears to accept Nigerian users, whether product access differs by region, and whether users should confirm availability before registering.
Risk and Regulation
We separate platform usability from trust. Offshore brokers can be usable and still carry serious regulatory, complaint and withdrawal-risk issues.
How the Nigeria Broker Rating Is Built
Our score is an editorial rating. It is not a user-review average and it does not guarantee safety, profit, account approval or withdrawal success.
| Rating factor | Weight | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Platform usability | 20% | Chart clarity, order ticket, demo mode, mobile usability and first platform test. |
| Account access and entry cost | 15% | Minimum deposit, minimum trade, registration friction and beginner practicality. |
| Payout visibility | 15% | How clearly payout rates and trading conditions are shown before funding. |
| Deposit and withdrawal terms | 15% | Payment routes, withdrawal wording, KYC language, limits and first-withdrawal friction. |
| Risk and regulation profile | 15% | Offshore status, complaint paths, risk warnings and whether the broker overstates safety. |
| Nigeria availability | 10% | Country access, local payment context and product availability for Nigerian users. |
| Support and transparency | 10% | Help access, terms clarity, bonus restrictions and account-rule transparency. |
What This Methodology Does Not Claim
- We do not claim that every broker was tested with real-money deposits.
- We do not claim that every broker was tested through 100+ live trades.
- We do not claim to have completed full Naira or crypto withdrawal tests for every broker.
- We do not claim that screenshots, videos or private account records exist for every listed broker.
- We do not guarantee account approval, payout rates, withdrawal speed or country availability.
- We do not provide financial advice, trading signals or profit guarantees.
How We Update Nigeria Broker Pages
We update Nigeria pages when broker terms, country access, payment wording, verification requirements, payout visibility or risk profile materially change. Reader feedback can also trigger a review when it points to outdated information.

Methodology FAQ
Do you test every broker with real money in Nigeria?
No. Unless a specific review clearly documents a live-money test, our rankings should be read as editorial broker comparisons based on platform information, account terms, payment wording, withdrawal rules, country access and risk profile.
Are your ratings user reviews?
No. The scores are editorial ratings. They are not user-review averages and they do not guarantee safety, profit or withdrawal success.
Can affiliate commissions affect rankings?
No. Some links may generate commissions, but brokers cannot buy a higher score or remove risk notes from reviews.
Why do high-risk offshore brokers still appear?
Many binary options platforms available to Nigerian users operate offshore. We include risk notes so readers can compare usability without treating a high score as proof of safety.
